Helena Haddox Ceramics Workshop

Helena Haddox Ceramics Workshop

Join me on Saturday, October 5th from 7 PM to 10 PM for my very first workshop! 〰️ We will be making your choice of a small planter or mug using hand building techniques - coil building, pinching, and slab construction - to make your very own ceramic vessel!

The workshop will take place at Wet Salon on South Congress in Austin, TX. Drinks and snacks will be provided! The cost of attendance includes materials, tools, and firing. Your piece will be ready for pick up 3 to 4 weeks after the workshop.

I HIGHLY recommend bringing sketches or photos of your ideas. Keep in mind we will be using white stoneware with the option of decorating with different color underglaze. The planter/mug will be finished after the workshop with a clear glaze.

I hope to see you there!

ART SHOW - Maestro Maya/Manifest Destinys Child/Foxlove/SeaFire

Spend your Friday night doing something worth talking about when you're old. The cheap visual stimuli that fills our screens and our lives is getting quite monotonous, so come feed your mind and soul with real, original artwork. Accompanying us that night will be some of our favorite local jammers and music makers. So come, challenge yourself to think differently, meet an artist and pick their brain, or move your body to the beat of the drums and thump of the bass. Unless you're allergic to fun or content to experience the world only through your phone and computer screen; in that case, don't come.
